Filmmaking for the Actor - 5 Week Intensive on Screenwriting : The Significance of Storytelling
In this intensive, you will learn the step by step approach to visual storytelling from the initial concept to formatting your idea on the page successfully. You will also discover the professional story structures, the characters voice through dialogue, conflict and resolution and editing your script to achieve the perfected draft. This will take the students through the process for a screenplay of 15-20 pages for an entire short film, ready for the next phases of this filmmaking curriculum, which also includes other 5-week intensives on Directing and Producing.

Jennifer Joy O'Grady holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema & Television Production. She is an actor, director, writer, and producer who has created award winning short films, as well as an eight-part episodic series, Saudade. Jennifer is also the founder and CEO of Open Door Film Productions, a visual storytelling company that has conceptualized and produced multiple films, commercials, and marketing for companies nationwide. Jennifer has over seven years of professional experience teaching and training young children, teens, and young adults in Acting for TV & Film, Screenwriting and Film Production.
